Stewed Spicy Chicken With Lemongrass

Cooking steps 

Step 1: Prepare the ingredients

  • Crush and mince the lemongrass, as well as garlic, chili.
  • Chop the chicken into bite-sized pieces.

Step 2: Marinate the chicken 

  • Add 1 spoon of lemongrass, 1 spoon of minced garlic, ½ a spoon of chili flakes, ½ spoon of broth mix powder, ½ spoon of salt, ¼ spoon of MSG, 1 spoon of fish sauce and mix well. 
  • Then marinate the chicken with the seasoning mixture for 20 minutes to let the protein absorb the flavors.

Step 3: Make the stewed chicken

  • Heat the pan with some cooking oil and saute the garlic, lemongrass till golden.
  • Add a spoon of sugar to make caramel water. Once the sugar melts and turns brown, spread the caramel evenly on the pan and add the chicken in. Use high heat to stir-fry them for about 2 minutes until they are cooked. 
  • Pour 200ml of water in with a tablespoon of sugar and 2 spoons of fish sauce. Stir thoroughly and simmer the dish for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Continue stirring and taste, adjust the flavor to your liking. Then take a bowl or plate and take the chicken out, sprinkle some fresh herbs if you may.

Braised Snakehead With Pepper

Cooking steps 

Step 1: Prepare the ingredients

  • Clean and cut open the fish into round pieces (about 1.5cm)
  • Mince the garlic

Step 2: Make the dish

  • Saute the garlic with some cooking oil until golden.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of sugar in and make the caramel. Remember to keep the heat low and simmer the sugar so it won’t be burnt.
  • Add the snakehead in and stir for 2 minutes. Next, season with 2 tablespoons of fish sauce, sugar, and ½ spoon of salt. 
  • Pour 150ml of water in. Wait for 15 – 20 minutes until the sauce thickens. Coat the chicken thoroughly with the sauce.
  • When the chicken is soft, sprinkle black pepper in and turn off the heat. 
  • Plate the dish, garnish with some fresh vegetables and enjoy

Winter Melon Soup – Tasty Everyday Recipes

Winter Melon Soup

Ingredients

Cooking steps 

Step 1: Prepare the ingredients

  • Wash with water, peel the skin and remove the inside of the winter melon. Cut them into bite-sized pieces.
  • Mince the meat.
  • Dice the green onions. 

Step 2: Make the dish

  • Boil the water and add the minced meatballs in. Next, add the winter melon in, turn the heat low, and season with 2 spoons of broth mix powder, 1 spoon of salt, and ½ spoon of MSG. Cook on medium heat for 3 – 5 minutes. 
  • Continue simmering the soup until the melons are soft. Taste and season again to your liking. 
  • Turn off the heat and add the diced green onions in. Pour the soup into a bowl and serve on the table.

Cooking steps 

Step 1: Prepare the tools

Put a bowl and the spatula in the freezer for about 20 minutes before using.

Step 2: Make the whipped cream

Pour 400 gram of whipping cream into a bowl and whisk until it becomes softly whipped cream (if you have an electric hand mixer, whisk the cream for 5-7 minutes)

Step 3: Make the chocolate mixture

Add 140 gram of condensed milk and 60 gram of cocoa powder in the bowl and mix everything well together. Then use a spatula or a hand mixer to blend the ice cream.

Step 4: Shape the ice cream
