Cooking steps
Step 1: Prepare the ingredients.
- Mince the garlic
- Cut off the feelers and the legs, wash carefully with saltwater.
- Add hot water in 50gram of tamarind and crush them to make the sour liquid. Take the tamarind seeds out of the juice.
- Add ½ teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of MSG, 3 spoons of sugar, and a teaspoon of fish sauce into the tamarind liquid.
Step 2: Marinate the shrimp
Add ½ teaspoon of salt and marinate the shrimps for about 5 to 10 minutes.
Step 3: Make the stir-fried tamarind shrimp
- Heat the pan with some cooking oil and fry the garlic. Next, add the shrimps and stir-fry for about 5 to 10 minutes.
- Add the tamarind liquid. Stir well so that the sauce can coat the shrimps completely. When the sauce thickens and the shrimps are cooked, add some black pepper. Turn off the heat and let it simmer.
- Finally, plate the dish with some green onions (optional) to make it more appetizing. The fragrant sour taste will keep you eating without feeling tired of the shrimps.

Step 1: Prepare the ingredients.
- Clean the beans well. Next, wash them again with water and cut into bite-sized pieces.
- Dice the green onions.
- Slice the pork into bite-sized pieces and wash with water.
Step 2: Marinate the pork
- Add ½ teaspoon of broth mix, ⅓ teaspoon of MSG, sprinkle some salt and black pepper on the pork.
- Mix well so the seasonings can coat the pork thoroughly. Marinate the pork for about 10 -15 minutes.
Step 3: Stir-fry the pork and green beans
- Heat the pan with some cooking oil, add the pork in with some minced garlic.
- When the meat is almost cooked, add the green beans and 1 teaspoon of broth mix, ⅓ teaspoon of salt and 2 spoons of MSG. Then add half a spoon of fish sauce and stir well to dissolve the seasonings.
- Turn off the heat and add the green onions on top. Sprinkle some black pepper to your liking.
Amaranth Soup – Delicious Homemade Recipes

Step 1: Prepare the ingredients.
- Clean the dirt off and wash the amaranth along with green onions.
- Dice the green onions into bite-sized pieces.
- Wash and mince the pork.
Step 2: Marinate pork.
Add a spoon of broth mix powder and a spoon of salt in. Marinate them with the minced pork for about 5 to 10 minutes.
Step 3: Cook the soup.
- Boil half a pot of water and add the minced pork in. Remember to scoop the foam on top to make the broth cleaner.
- Add the amaranth into the pot. Add 1 spoon of fish sauce, 2 spoons of broth mix powder, 1 spoon of MSG or you can adjust to your liking.

- Peel the corn kernels and keep the core. Pour 3 cups of water into a pot, then boil the corn core. This will help the soup taste sweeter with more corn flavors.
Step 2: Cook the soup
- Take the corn core out, then cook the corn kernels for about 10 to 15 minutes.
- Next, add sugar and simmer the pot.
- Pour the cornstarch liquid slowly into the pot, stir slightly until the soup is tender and becomes thickened.
Step 3: Make the coconut milk
Simmer the coconut milk with low heat for 1 to 2 minutes. Stir well when the milk gets warmer and turn off the heat.
